TAGB News - New Tchoukball Season Starts!

The new-look tchoukball season has been agreed for next year. Instead of a National League, the Tchoukball Association of Great Britain (TAGB) has decided to run a series of regional training sessions and tournaments each month from September 2005.

Also included in the calendar are two National Tournaments in December and March designed to include new players generated from our regional events. These will be events designed to cater for all abilities.

Finally, in April there will be an inter-regional competition where adult men's and women's teams will play against each other in highly competitive matches. Regional training sessions and tournaments will be used to train for this event.

Dates and venues will be announced very shortly. Already, an outdoor mixed tournament at Flegg High School, Great Yarmouth on Sunday September 11th has been announced. Although this event will be held in the Eastern Region, there is an open invitation to teams from the South to participate.

So whatever your ability, make sure you are available to play. The new tchoukball season offers something for everyone.
