A message from Richard Jackson, Sudbury Tchoukball Club Chairman:
Sudbury Tchoukball Club is the most successful tchoukball club in Great Britain. We have many Great Britain capped players, and our Beach Tchoukball squad recently became International Champions in Rimini, Italy. Sudbury Tchoukball Club has 12 Great Britain international players from junior through to senior men and women.
As part of our philosophy to include all players, no matter what their age, physique or ability, we also embrace the other end of the game. We have an increasing amount of younger players, we have coached players with learning disabilities and brought sport to the local community as a means to involve and not exclude young people.
Tchoukball is an ideal choice for a sport; it is athletic, keeps participants fit and healthy yet being a sport without tackling or interceptions, injuries are very rare. However, the real power of tchoukball lies in its accessibility. The basic skills can be taught within 15 minutes, and our national coaches will teach you all you need to know about the sport.
